New Earth School PDX is a community learning space built around a simple idea: everyone has something to teach, and everyone has something to learn.

 

Each week, people from across the Portland community come together to share practical skills, creative ideas, lived experience, and the things they’re passionate about. There are no credentials required and no traditional “expert” culture. Our teachers are community members who want to share what they know, and our students often become teachers themselves.

 

Now in our third year, New Earth School PDX is directed by Fern Capella Allen and made possible by the amazing teachers who bring their knowledge, creativity, skills, and passions into the community.
